Engagement Rings Perth – How to choose a unique Engagement Ring you will love forever

Firstly, how much should one spend on an engagement ring?

Rose Gold Engagement Rings

De Beers launched a marketing campaign in the 1930’s. In a nutshell this campaign suggested two months salary during the Great Depression. However they now say one month, two months or even three months salary in their more recent marketing.

Oval Engagement Rings – Custom Engagement Rings are very popular

With my many years of experience designing engagement rings for the lovely ladies of Perth my personal opinion is between at least twice as much as the cost of your wedding dress and the cost of a new car your husband to be wants to buy and everything in-between!

Sapphire Engagement Rings

Well a wedding dress is worn only once, and a car quickly loses value and frankly the diamond is forever! Still confused? That’s because a lot of importance is placed on the diamond engagement ring. The size, cost, and quality are all highly valued by buyers who wish to make a lasting impression on their hopeful brides-to-be.

Princess Cut Engagement Rings

For the first time buyer of a diamond engagement ring you might as well add complicated to the list! Rest assured, beautiful diamonds can fit almost any budget.

Black Diamond Engagement Rings

By knowing a thing or two about the 4Cs, or even better finding a reliable Gemologist and Jewellery Consultant the stress will be taken out of buying the most emotional purchase you will ever make. This will provide the 5th C – Confidence! And it is nice to feel confidant with an engagement ring you will wear on your hand for the rest of your life!

Mens Engagement Rings – Custom Made Engagement Rings

Buying from an expert that will happily teach you everything you need to know is a good plan. When you shop smart with an expert like myself you will feel confident in your decision. It is important to know your Jeweller/Designer/Valuer is qualified to give accurate information and to describe the characteristics of your diamond, so you can make an informed decision that is right for you, and gives you peace of mind.

Emerald Cut Engagement Rings

It can be intimidating when buying a diamond but If you decide to go it alone, ask if the diamond comes with a report from the laboratory with the highest standards of diamond grading e.g. a GIA Report and laser inscription. However, you will still need to find a jeweller to design and set your diamond.

Pearl Engagement Rings

In our busy lives, I think it is important to find a trusted, qualified, skilled and experienced gemologist/ jeweller to look after you from the beginning to the end of any purchase… as you will then need to get your wedding rings, eternity ring and other possible life mementoes.

Solitaire Engagement Rings

Of all the 4Cs, cut has the greatest effect on a diamond’s beauty and total internal reflections back to the eye. The more precise the cut, the more captivating the diamond is to the eye.

Colour in diamonds occur in many hues. They range from colourless to light yellow, cape or light brown. Colourless diamonds are the rarest. Other natural colours include blue, red, yellow and pink. Colours are known as “fancy”,  and their colour grading is different than that of white colorless diamonds.

Diamonds can have internal characteristics known as inclusions or external characteristics known as blemishes, natural’s or gletz. Diamonds without inclusions or blemishes are rare; however, most characteristics can only be seen with magnification.

The carat is the diamond’s physical weight measured in carats. One carat is subdivided into 100 points. Carat weight is the most objective grade of the 4Cs.
